Recommendations for a reasonably priced shop--DC area--

Mike Self

Recommended Posts

have a friend with an E30 who needs some fairly basic work done that won't cost her an arm and a leg. She just moved to DC from Ohio and hasn't found a good shop yet. Suburban VA side of Washington. There are bound to be some good shops there to do basic repairs on an E30...

TIA

Mike

That site includes a link to Grant Randall's place in Alexandria - Alexandria Barvarian. Worst bunch of clowns I have ever encountered. Avoid at all costs.

I know I'll get flamed for expressing a negative opinion - and most likely, somebody has had a good experience (how, I don't know). But I'm entitled to my opinion, and my opinion is based on fact and first-hand experience.

IMO, pick any other shop - but not them.

Mike, I know the shops in Maryland for E30s; Virginia, I don't know so well, so I'll defer to others (except regarding Alexandria Barvarian, as noted above).
