Thanks Esty for the link. Josh I have on in my car. If you want to come out to Claremont your more than welcome to take a look and measure. I think Jon with So Cal Vintage BMW has some in different colors he mentioned when he saw mine.

I'd love to get a look at yours and take some measurements. I can probably build a shell out of wood and fiberglass. Getting the cover stitched on nice is a different story....

buying one already made for a reasonable price would be ideal!

Unfortunately, i recently found out i can't attend the so-cal vintage show this year. A family vacation conflict.... grr...

The beauty of fiberglass is that you can sand it down, or add to it... the hard part will be making it symmetrical on both sides.

Definitely post some photos if you have them!

It seems that most people have drilled through their rear shelf already and installed speakers that poke through to the trunk.

But for those of us with clean shelves... I hope to make my own as well and eventually offer them up to FAQ people who might want the same thing.
