1. "1/16" bondo" is nothing, but he seems to be saying its had a major rear crash repair.
2. "did not pull". You need to assess the rear end collision damage before the old repair was done. Start with the bottom. Looking up past the rear axles, see the curved part of floor. Unless it's a '67 there will be box section frame rails at the sides. Buckles in these frame rails are hard to fix. Also check for bucking of the inner side of the wheel hose. Inside the trunk look for wavy 1/4 panels to the sides and behind the center of shock tower.
3. How can it have a rear crash repair and "original paint"?
4. "Flares not close to fitting". If the car looks reasonably straight and the flares don't fit, you need other flares.
5. "It will take a year" means it will be used as fill in when business is slow. I always had a project like that on the go, but the customer was always fully informed. Major body work needs good communication between owner and repairer.
Sorry, I don't get LMAO. IMHO if it's a '74-'76 and the frame rails are badly bent, and the flat sheet 1/4 reinforcements have come loose, it's a bad investment. Photos would be helpful.
