    buying all new seals, headliner, interior bits and trim cost just as much as my paint job on my nevada car. Stuff isnt cheap.

    Its such good track car but not enjoyable on the street at all. I think the more and more I built my 1series the more and more i stopped enjoying regular driving. My 02 has awoken that. Its reminded me that Driving doesnt always mean Racing. Dinan have been awesome. Their 4.6L v8 is amazing. If i could only get them to reproduce or unearth some old deadstock stuff for us.

    It was awesome to briefly meet many 02 enthusiasts on Saturday. I typically build newer BMW's and absolutely agree with you on the state of the modern car community. I have my own goals with cars and I wont hate on anyone for having different ones but there is a lot of stuff going on I have no interest in. A huge lack of originality with most cars playing simply on individual paint and most expensive mods. VIBE motorsport is probably the biggest offender and super trashy. Their branding and work is a joke. Getting into 02's recently has been a huge refreshment to my love of cars and there is a humbleness to them that is incomprehensible to many people until they drive one. One of my cars was displayed at Dinan.
