  1. Hi Ed,

What's with the E9Coupe website?  I registered, made a donation, and have written to Dang at webmaster@e9coupe.com three times asking for my account to be activated, but no response, no activation.  I show as registered, but have no rights to participate in any forum.

Willem Tell is my account name.

    Can you offer any insight?

    Best,

    Tom

      Oh my.... Turkis??? Gorgeous color.

      What model is this car?

I’ve run sidedrafts on 3 cars now. Love them. They have some mystique but are not hard to sort out.

On an e9 your dealing with triples, but plenty of guys run them. Steve Armstrong in New Orleans is a guru with his triples and a 123Tune. A very very nice car.

E9s are not getting any cheaper, I hope the restoration addressed the A pillars and rockers. Do they have pics of that work?

It's a Turkis E9.  Can you see the video? I thought only some special setups had triples.  That sounds like a challenge!  I do have a great mechanic that could help me when needed.

Dealer says it (incredibly) came completely dry with no rust issues, said he didn't have to replace any metal.  I plan to go see it in June, and will be looking closely behind glove box, A pillars, etc.  Any other areas?  I'm trying to get to see it before most of the interior is installed.  Engine is completely redone and sitting next to car.

I would be selling a really pristine MBZ 280SE 4.5L V-8 to make room for this.  The MBZ is rock-solid and very reliable, but it's not a sporty car to drive at all.  I've been on the fence for a long time, but the Turkis and a clean chassis is quite tempting!

BTW, thank you for helping with Dan... I now have user rights on E9 site.

      That is stunning.

I’ll get back with some details on where to inspect for rust. Get yourself a tiny, inspection camera for your iPhone to probe in the recesses.

They em went to a lot of trouble to put that fine paint on the car, without close ups of some areas there’s no way to know if anything is hidden.

This car car will be soooo much cooler than the MB. I’m super jealous.

      Ed
