  1. Headliner does go in before glass. For the dash, there are 2 screws that go in the back under the glass. HOWEVER almost no one reinstalls those 2 screws, so if you don't use those 2 screws you can install the dashboard after you install the glass.
  2. Perfectly safe to drop the subframe while the car sits on jack stands on the frame rails. The sub frame, without the engine in, isn't very heavy. Get the car as a roller first. Meaning do the suspension / subframes / wheel bearings and brakes first. Then maybe drop in wiring harness. Then decide how you are going to install the engine. Either from the top with a engine hoist or from the bottom by attaching the engine to the subframe and then sliding the whole assembly under the car (Car has to be jacked up very high though or be on a lift) Honestly, its not that bad to reassemble. Just get started. Small victories each and every day. I like to do one area per day, so i can feel accomplished and i can clean up and put my tools away each day.

  6. You can't get the original pump any more. There are aftermarket pumps but long necks are pretty expensive. This is the closest modern replacement avaliable. https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/13311257784.htm?pn=13-31-1-257-784-BOE&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAjfyqBhAsEiwA-UdzJPC4qAEJVoeRuliTU_Sg1ZqurQU5TFnl8VmPjX1ZVdqym5rgIruMVBoC-v4QAvD_BwE

  9. Yes you have a sealed fuel pump. The fact that it runs at all, probably means the fuel pump is fine. Just replace all the lines, including the trunk area, and get the system air tight before you worry about anything else. Please note you use 8mm fuel line from the trunk all the way to the back of the fuel pump and 6mm line from the fuel pump to the carb. It looks like you have 8mm line on the carb and you have it clamped down really tight. That will never seal right. Use the correct size lines and proper fuel clamp hoses and get the system air tight.

  12. Pablo, if the car is running, just rotate the distributor 5 degrees one direction and see if the motor smooths out, if not, try rotate the distributor 5 degrees to the other direction. You can get the timing close just by listening to the engine.
  13. Replace all the hoses and clamps. Definitely leaking air.

  15. That's the correct wire there. Just crimp on a new connector and use it.
  16. You will need to lift the motor a little, but once up, changing the mount is a piece of cake. Might as well change both sides while at it.
  17. Make sure the pump its self isn't coming apart. I just helped a friend with the same problem and a similar pump and the main bolt in the pump was loose and the pump was sucking air from its self.
  18. you can do the front main with the engine in the car. Have to take apart a few things, but nothing a morning cant solve.
