  1. Anyone know what size bolt to use to attach the round bumper tubes on the 74tii? You attach from the trunk and goes through the trunk floor; is there a nut or is it threaded? Thanks. Khai
  2. Interested in trim for windows. Email sent
  3. Anyone have experience with using ANTON's Brackets? I just got mine in today and test fitted the rear only, so far was very easy, too easy in fact as I skipped a few steps. I don't want to pay for any oversight. I didn't bother to mark the center of the rear of the car or the center of the bumper. Were these crucial steps? Do you need to drill the two holes on the side of the car to attach the end pieces? Is this needed as bracketes a pretty beefy?
  4. Marshall, thanks for the tutorial on Esty's carpet install. Great help. Got mine done and looks dare I say professional . Wish I'd known about the side panel where you can add the extra vinyl flaps that go over and wraps aroun the seat rails. Oh for the kicker panels, I used super velcro and stuck them in place just in case I need to access the wires, which I had to do for my electronic relay upgrade.
  5. You wouldnt beleive what they can do with paint these days. A good paint shop will be able to paint DAPBMW's glass bumper and make it look chrome, aluminum or any other color for that matter. earlu "shortie" bumpers are hard to come by and are not cheap. I heard that. Just got my 69 set for 580 shipped; off ebay.
  6. If you find more OEM rubber seals, R/L and windshield, let me know. Thanks.
  7. Thannnnkkkk yooouuuu. That did the trick. Electronic RELAY conversion do it!!!! And thank you to everyone else that made helpful suggestions. NOw for the bumper conversion.
  8. All outside lights are working properly and on the instrument panel, the blinking flasher along with the clicking sound was working. Now only one side is flashing and clicking, the other flashes once only but click continues. What could be the trouble. And would converting to an Electronic Relay fix this problem or make it worse. Also previous owner says he disconnected the horn so no horn either. I've read that horn and lights share wiring? Or am I mistaken? I've been told that theres a brand new horn in the car.

  15. nice just what I needed. Thank you much : )
  16. Greetings, congrats on the hi fi set up. I just bought an M2 conversion and I much prefer your set up; where did you get your strut bar it's much cleaner than the one I have. Also I'm forced to mount the throttle cable underneath and theres way too much slack. What throttle cable and mount are you using? Is that a custom radiator? Who makes it. Thanks, Khai.
  17. Hi I'm interested hows about 1k plus shipping?
  18. Anyone have any experience with either front spoiler/bumper being sold. There's a big price difference in price $248 vs. $400. Both uses fiberglass, one has plastic and in the end will crack under any moderate amount of impact. It seems the Kamei has a higher lip for ease of installation and added strength?
  19. You don't say. I'm very familiar with bondo type products from the motorcycle track days. I can get the bigger rough patches done and bondo myself; save some on the final cost. Nice. Thankds for the 411.
  20. Can I get an amen, all lights are operational. Thanks to all the awesome folks on here and especially one detailed write up, I got everything working. For me the fix was a $4 part from autozone called a clearance light part number B486R. With the Euro lights, another light needs to be added for the circuit to complete I guess and that way, enough current is drawn to run the driving and blinkers. So I hook up the Blue wire which operates the blinkers to the push pin connector on the lamp and the Brown wire which is the running/parking light to the clearance bulb that I bought from Autozone and presto. I'll find the link that saved my butt. Update: So if one bulb is out, the blinkers will not work. This just happened to me as I went back to the car. Apparently the motherless TPS is acting up. Had to get rough with her and slam on the accelerator.
  21. This is an easy one. Anyone have a fuse diagram for 74tii.
