  1. I'm not sure I trust my car to make it the distance, but I will try to join! If one car brings a driveshaft, another brings a fuel pump, another brings a water pump, etc. I might be able to make the drive with you guys!
  2. Actually, I do agree. My shiny new mechanical fuel pump should not be at fault anyway. The carb is a 38/38 and freshly rebuilt. I just cleaned the fuel tank last weekend and it was DISGUSTING in there! Tried blowing out the line from the tank to fuel filter, but it did not help. Hmmm, I think I'll order a new fuel line and hope it solves the problem.
  3. (nt) Super Oscars in white! At least I have new lights while my car sits stranded on rt.1 for a couple hours. I having issues with the fuel system and think it might be time for an electronic fuel pump.
  4. I would like to cover my roundel on the hood and the one on the rear taillight panel on my '73.
  5. Payment sent for Motorsport emblems, thanks!
  6. I gotta thank everyone in the dc area that has helped keep my 02 going this spring. Jim, a huge thanks for the grille and rear trim. Fixed the exhaust up this weekend and hopefully going to have time to clean out the fuel tank. The car died on me today, but should be going again by the morning.
  7. John - Careful how low you go on your 73 with those great-looking Momo 14x6 wheels. Low, low, low! The B&G setup might be too extreme, but you know anything is better than what you saw this week.
  8. My '02 handles like a Buick and I'm in need of an upgrade. If anyone has set of Bilstein Sports and/or a set of springs- let me know! Thanks!
  9. NM/NA Looks like it has some decent parts. http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/mld/pts/1669457657.html
  10. Bill, thanks for the great pics and kind words about my '73! Ian, thanks for hosting. Such a fun afternoon and it was great to meet everybody.
  11. I'll bring some frickles, baked beans, and some cold side items. Oh yeah, beer. I have a couple 32/36 carbs, a rebuild kit, NOS late model grilles, SS front brakes lines, door handles, and all that stuff that just sits in my trunk. I could probably use a hood, but please dont bring one on my account! I could also use some window regulators, washer pump and bottle. I also really need black plastic center caps for the wheels and chrome acorn nuts for the valve cover. Center kidney grille and passenger side grille for '73. Ah, my wish list is complete for now.
  12. I'm still in...Let me know what desired parts, food, booze, etc. to bring and I'll try to oblige.
  13. I'm still down to join as well. I got parts and need parts. Let me know what kind of refreshments to bring and I'll see everyone on the 27th.
  14. Has anyone installed a round style rear fog lamp with a bracket that does not require drilling the bumper? Any pics or ideas on how I might do this would be helpful. Thanks!
  15. I bought a blue multi piece set from that website quite some time ago. Have not installed it, but I will next week. I'm glad to post an update after its complete. The carpet is decent, but the sets I've seen by Esty appear to be much nicer.
  16. Bought these from Rogerstii.com and they don't fit my 14" Momo Basketweaves. If you have a set that does fit my wheels, I am open to trades. Here is the description: Set of four brand new BMW Motorsport center caps for alloy wheels with 60mm center hole diameters. Caps are black plastic. This cap fits common stock BMW alloy wheels (basketweave style) in size 13 x 6. Also fits Alpina, BBS, Weds and many other wheels. If unsure of application just measure the center hole diameter in your wheels- if it is 60mm these caps will fit! Paid $45.95 plus $13.55 shipping Would like to get $45 shipped Paypal add 4%
  17. Thanks again, picked up the M5 bolts today and they fit! Now to find out why the car broke down on the way home. If its not one thing, its another
  18. I will get a pic of their location if the hardware store doesn't work out. Thanks for the advice.
  19. Looks like a great find...hmm, start a never-ending turbo clone project. Wish I could.
  20. uh, the price sure was right! Wish I had found that before it sold. If anyone else has one for sale at a good price, I need one!
  21. So, I finally got my car dialed in and ready to drive again, but I ran into one issue. The bolts that secured my air filter assembly to the 32/36 Weber dont fit my new 38DGAS. I'm using that standard rectangular assembly with a K&N filter. Can't find them on the Weber parts site either. Anyone have a set that fits or know where I can find them? If anyone is looking for a carb, I have two 32/36 carbs in good condition and one rebuild kit. I can sell or trade these for other other parts.
