Thanks for the response and details on the peacemat.  If you get time, please do send a spec sheet or maybe include it in your blog.  I'll search stateside for some peacemat vendors, but maybe I"ll end up having it shipped.  The peacemat bolstering reminds me of the old diamond stitching patterns used in hot rods and even though it'll get covered up by carpet and upholstery, I guess I'd take some pleasure in knowing it's underneath LOL.

Nice build fellas and thanks for sharing.  Can you advise on the sound dampening material you're using and where to source it?  I'm just looking for some alternatives to FatMat, DynaMat, etc. available in the USA....

Thanks and the engine was built by Terry Tinney back in 2009 (hence the glacial pace title of my blog).  The holes below the license plate and above the bumper are for red reflectors.

Looks like a very fun and manageable project.  Good to hear you're starting with the brakes and cooling.  Fixing those items should prevent some bonus work! Definitely post some pics when you can.

Wow, thank you for writing up such a comprehensive yet simplistic 5-speed trouble shooting guide!  I have a car that's finally about to hit the road and I'm fairly sure I'll need to make adjustments to my 5-speed conversion.  

Monitoring the guibo and transmission flange mounting alignment is news to me. The info. provided here will likely eliminate a ton of necessary rework.  Thanks!
