Chipping Away

It's been a while since I've posted any updates, so here we go. My car was at a friend's garage about an hour away from my home where it underwent some major work:

However, I set a deadline to get the car back home by the end of 2014 regardless of it's condition. So, right before Christmas, I towed her home and rolled her into the garage. Technically, the car is running now but there are still some hydraulic and electrical issues to work out before she can go for a proper test drive.

The electrical issues are definitely frustrating and I've decided to let a professional sort them out. In the meantime, I'm focusing on some arts and crafts tasks to keep the momentum going. It's damn nice to have the car back home and to be able to work on it just a few feet away!

that engine sounds beautiful...."hummmmmmmmmm"

Great work and inspiring

Just wondering though (trying to get reacquainted with stuff here...what are the extra holes in the back panel? dent puller holes or like that?

Thanks and the engine was built by Terry Tinney back in 2009 (hence the glacial pace title of my blog).  The holes below the license plate and above the bumper are for red reflectors.
