  1. Weekday bump. I also have a rebuilt e21 alternator for anyone in need. Spins freely and I don’t need it.
  2. Price is negotiable. As a relatively longtime FAQer, I’m not looking for top dollar or price gouging. If you’re interested, DM me. Some parts trades or acceptable to. I could use a carpet kit and a few other odds and ends.
  3. Reproduced center console assembled from wood and crafted to OEM dimensions. It’s in perfect condition and can be finished as you see fit (stained & varnished, leather or final wrapped, etc.). Your creativity and imagination is all that’s needed to enjoy this new console. Price is negotiable. Please let me know if you’re interested or have any questions. ~Zach
  4. For sale: 1) Intake manifold bored out for a a double barrel carburetor (i.e Weber 38). Intake has the block off plate already installed. Ran it on my car, but upgraded to a Canon. 2) Cool (Zinc?) coated alternator mounting bracket. I have a refreshed alternator if interested. 3) M Shift Knob (brand new, never installed). Please DM me if you’re interested in any of the items. Not trying to get top dollar and prices are negotiable. Thanks, Zach
  5. Very cool thread and even cooler pictures! Here’s a few “old” pictures of my 71’ with my daughter and I in the East Bay Area. I guess some things have changed ?

Nonetheless, it's this one: http://www.iemotorsport.com/bmw/item/02gcluster.html Local pickup (SF Bay Area - Sacramento) is free or buyer pays shipping. Please PM me if you're interested. Thanks.
  12. I second the Ford Focus seals hack. Just a trip to your local pick-n-pull (check inventory online) and 15-20 bucks. After getting a new headliner and BMW OEM windshield seals installed $$$, I had to “cut corners” somewhere LOL! Props to LimeySteve! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  20. LarryT, Thanks for the response and details on the peacemat. If you get time, please do send a spec sheet or maybe include it in your blog. I'll search stateside for some peacemat vendors, but maybe I"ll end up having it shipped. The peacemat bolstering reminds me of the old diamond stitching patterns used in hot rods and even though it'll get covered up by carpet and upholstery, I guess I'd take some pleasure in knowing it's underneath LOL.
  21. Nice build fellas and thanks for sharing. Can you advise on the sound dampening material you're using and where to source it? I'm just looking for some alternatives to FatMat, DynaMat, etc. available in the USA....
