Where should I have my engine rebuilt, westchester area

Hey - what's wrong with the engine besides the 'stumble'? Does is smoke, make noises or what?

I live in Putnam and will help you yank your engine out in my garage if you really want to. Then you can easily take off the head and take it over to any one of a half-dozen machine shops over in Danbury to do the valves and deck it if needed. Then you do the bearings, do an oil pump and chain and pretty much that's it Maybe $2000 and some sweat (net of the pump).

The K'fish can get fixed at H&R Fuel Injection in Bohemia NY (Long Island) GOODOLDHR@AOL.COM

Leave it stock says I. If you want 250 HP buy a used M3 or an Acura.

At 120 MPH a 2002 without a chin spoiler and a huge wing is airborne (I can vouch for having reached Vr around 98 MPH once and I have little urge to do it again)

Is fuel efficiency really what we need most desperately? I say what we really need is a car that can be shot when it breaks down.

......then that's not your "engine" - it's the stuff bolted to the

outside of the motor

injection components (injectors, injection pump, fuel pump, filters,

linkage adjustment)

or the ignition/charging system/wiriing condition

get a compression test first, and take greater

care adjusting the basic stuff first

how old is the gas in the tank ?
