tires and wheels chrome lug nuts for alpina or borrani steel wheels

for those that are running steel wheels with exposed lug nuts, what type are you using? there are many diff kinds (acorn nuts, bulge nuts, wide seat, conical, some have longer cap, etc) i am looking into doing this but want chrome nuts. the BMW ones for early stock steelies look like they are not chrome?? were nuts for Spongebob Squaretail steelies chromed?

would both of these in the pics work?

note that in lower pic the nut cap is longer, does it make a difference?

The lugs in the first pic will fit both steel and aluminum.
