An update from BaT. Anyone recognize the 3 2002s.

I think it is the same So Cal shop who put a 6cyl in John Barlow's car.

I believe that's the first rear-tilting hood I've seen on an 02. weird.

John Barlow's car had an accident the day before the race and it was totaled.

That was a shame to hear.

Jeff Ireland's race car had the same hood setup. In fact, it looks like this may be his car but I'm not sure.

I also heard that John Barlow's M20, which was scheduled to enter this rallye event, got totalled on Wednesday. Thankfully, no one was hurt.

Yeah that's Ed and Mano from Groma, the guys who did John Barlow's swap. That white car also has an M20 and that hood is an Ireland Fiberglass replica. I wanted to run the Targa California this year but time constraints didn't permit.

It's true.... so sad, it was a GREAT car! Bummer is that it had all new parts [some not replaceable] and less than 1000 miles on it!

Did it get crunched so bad that you can not salvage parts ?

At least you had not painted it.
