can someone confirm if this is the bracket that supports the door check in place? The door check pin slips through the bracket. Thanks.

Armond, that is the piece. I just got one a while back. It annoying to put in. You have to reach up from the access hole in the kick panel. My A-Pillar was thrashed and I had to make a new retainer and everything. Its strong as hell now.
