15" wheels?

I need some generic stock looking wheels that will fit with correct offset on a 76 02 that isnt lowered, I dont have any flares or mods at all but I want some 15s. Possibly some that require a hub cap. Hubcap not needed. Is there any other car I can get them from? Toyota, honda, acura? I want to paint them red roll them with my white wall tires on a flat black car. Im sure its been done but I like the look. Any suggestions? Oh yeah preferably something lite. Am I asking too much?

offset is right, pretty common in wrecking yards, look a lot like E30 steel wheels, came with a small chrome or plastic center cap that's pretty easy to put a small stick-on Roundel over if you want to hide the VW logo.

A lot of them are 14" diameter, but I've also seen some 15's.....

Am I asking too much? = YUP .Also assuming your looking for free or near free YARD prices?

nothing in your shopping list will fit, you'd be adding

WEIGHT if it was possible, which will turn the steering & handling

of an 02 into a TURD .

If your just after the MADD MAXX effect - I'm sure any

of those junque yard choices will bolt right up with a really

strong hit of a huge impact gun. But you wont get a

blessing here.

Please keep in mind its a car that I got for free. Motor runs good, brakes are good. Wireing is good. Fenders are trash from rust and dents glass is scratched and I think a dog lived in the car for a few years and ate most of the seats. I've built rat rod VW's for years preserving the patina if you will. Now I have a purfect car to paint black with a red stripe.
