Name change!

Is there anyway to change the screen name? I would rather be called Pat or Patrick or something more me then Im the new kid on the block. I screwed up when I signed up and didnt read the sticky saying use your real name.

i'd suggest going to the chat room...a link's at the top of the forum...rob is an admin and he's usually in the chat room....ask him and i'm sure he'll help

Damn Esty, I didn't even know there was a chat room on here.

I don't use them often but they come in handy for quick answers. Is it popular. Do many people on the faq use it.

Don't quote me on this, but I think the only way you can change your username on this board is to swap it with an officially abandoned username. From the abandoned username FAQ, teh current list is:

- Turdhauler

- Dr-0-Love

- StreetBoi

- DUIagain

- TheStudderer

I guess if any of these apply, you're in luck.

well I only use one email address and the server wont let me create a new name under that address.

count me in for that too .. i am willing to change my Username too , and i contacted steve k. for that .. he should be able to do it .. once he signs back in

I have the same frustration. I used a stupid, job-related user name when I first signed up and subsequently realized it was not a good '02 choice. I tried to sign up again on the Board, as suggested above, and was not successful, probably because the original name is linked to my computer. So now I hardly ever actually sign in and use a different user name; works for me.
