So the recaros and the rear panels are done. now gotta wait till the end of the week to get the back seat and the front panels. also question for the B pillar, is it supposed to be body color or are the gaskets going the cover that area?

Looks Nice!!! I was thinking of doing the same thing with my seats but I couldnt picture how they would turn out. I like em! Did you source the suede yourself?

those look great. if youre talking the inside b pillar you need black vinyl or your choice of material to cover that. i took the old pattern and traced it on new black vinyl

Well the upholstery guy provided the material also, but he had different samples.

and I think I am just going to tell him to just extend the headliner all the way down.

On my ceylon outside / tan colored interior '72, the B pillars are covered with black vinyl, as are the windshield pillars. The arm rests are black, too.

Beautiful....that's the idea I have with my heinous blue cordouroy recaros. Any trouble finding an experienced upholstery man? I'm just starting to look in the STL area.

Any front door panel pics? When you say suede, do you mean the real stuff or an ultra-suede type product? Really does look handsome. Dave V. in NC

well the front door panels are not ready yet.

shopped around for a long time and found this guy,

I was told its the same stuff as in ///M5 headliner (btw my headliner is gonna be the same black suede)

I think I got a very good deal,

2 front seats (new foam)

rear seat (new foam and semi bucket seat)

all panels, both front and back

headliner (includes install)

all that for $1300 material included.

the guy is in Burbank, ca. not a big shop or anything.
