so i went over to my friends house to talk about local body shops for my 74. he owns two 1965 mustangs (fastback which hauls ass and a convertible which is for cruising). anyways he used to own a 1980 320i "S-PACK"??? and it sits at his parents house unused. if i were to pick it up, what could i use on it for my '74 02?

Mostly just the diff, although lots of parts are

even swaps if you need spares (engine, trans, cv shafts, e.g.)

the rear brakes can be used for the 250mm rear drum swap

the five speed can be used as well as the linkage

the seats are great and bolt right in

the front hubs can be used for big brake conversions

the front brake calipers can be used for big brake conversions on single line cars (early 02's)

the fuel pump setup can be used for a fuel injection conversion

the fuel lines can be used if you bend them straight and rebend them for your car for a fuel injection conversion

the mirror is a direct swap for your car and is larger

the rear seat can be made to fit... remove your 02 cover and horsehair seat padding and put the same from the 320i onto your back seat frame. It'll bunch in the corners but they look okay

The seat belts can be adapted for a three point retractable seat belt the rears will bolt in too.

The rear end and at least one set of cv's can be used for an Limited Slip conversion

Some have been known to put the e21 dashboard into an 02 (never done it myself)

The steering wheel can be used

Turn signal switch can be adapted
