Does BMW make an “overpriced” battery to fit a 2002?

I’ve been thinking about a new battery (stock location) and wondered if anyone has a favorite battery or if BMW sold one that was reasonably priced and fit and worked properly in a 2002?

I've had a group size 26R battery from Advance Auto for 4 years now and I think it was just over $40.00.

yes and it's less than brand X batteries - fits and works like Original BMW Teile, front or rear. Go get one Today !

Wal-Mart sells a battery that fits perfectly which I just recently bought...it's their store brand and only cost me $40! I just measured the size of the old one and found this new one right on the shelf....I believe the length was a 1/4" smaller but you can't even notice that once mounted....the fit is perfect.

By the way, the last I checked about two years ago, the BMW brand battery that the dealer sells for the 2002 is NLA and at that time there were none in the USA. Maybe Mobile Tradition brought it back as I know C.D. mentioned it...so it's worth a check to see if you can get the correct one.
