That was Peter Sliskovich's, aka, "coupeking" former car. An E9 csl coupe looks stunning in inka, much more than chamonix. Wonder what the reserve is?

The owner has a dealer that sells mostly new BMW's and Mercedes on consignment from a FL dealer. He also owns a beautiful white Alpina 6 series, the euro M6 seen in the background and a stunning Polaris '73 tii.

Shipping it back is no major problem, since there are no US import duties (P.R. is a U.S. possession). Shipping cars from the mainland here is another story. Met an '02 owner last week that has two original 60's BMW Minis. He paid $4500.00 in excise taxes (essentially import duties) for the last one he imported.

The owner of the CSL is a dealer, so he probably has "connections" and paid less than that.
