Anyone running Maxlite wheels?

I'm corresponding with a local party that has a set of 13x6 ET13 Maxlite wheels for sale. They look similar to Panasports and other makers and appear to be good quality though I'm curious to know whether anyone has used them or is currently running them and what your thoughts are.

best and happy holidays!

Mitch

I believe they’re Maxilites. They advertise their Alpina-clone wheels in Roundel. They’re from Czech…

I did a quick search in the Stance thread - no hits…

Where we goin’? … I’ll drive…

13x6 with an ET of 13 is a well-documented fit for later cars (e21 320i), but lots of people (myself included) run them on our 2002's.  You may get fender rubbing especially if your car is lowered (I only get rubbing on one of four wheels, and just barely at that, with H&R Sport springs), and the steering will be subtlety heavier at low speeds.  But they look great!

Thanks all for your thoughts. I looked a little further and indeed, they are Maxilites. I’ve got 15” Rotas with 195/50’s that the PO had installed and am thus2D549F2B-5A4C-4D9A-A6F9-53B05AEEE943.jpeg.747c26f58545f0365b71fa7531c70909.jpegused to the slightly stiffer steering but really prefer 13’s on these cars.

Our cars are practically twins! Mine's a squaretail, but otherwise ...

haha twins indeed! I like the euro conversion with bumpers and turn signals! Great stance too - what's your suspension set up?

I don’t have those Minilite clones, but I do run Maxilites. Mine are the 15” Alpina clones. Fit and finish are perfect, strength and quality have been without issue. I’m certainly happy with them.

edit:

For anybody curious, they’re 15x6 ET12 with Hankook Ventus V4 in 175/55
