1972 bmw 2002 Sahara carpet

I’m try to source the exact color of brown look of this OEM short loop

in grayish brown.

Esty or GAHH didn’t match

Maybe it doesn't matter to you, but, that colour is not original to a 1972 original painted Sahara '02 with Brown interior.

Pics below gives you an idea of original carpet colour. HTH.

i don't know what samples you got from me but if you'll send me that sample, if it can be matched, i can match it can match it...as Les said though, that isn't the original color for your car colors...and that carpet doesn't look like OE carpet, it appears to be a modern day loop

With 2 different cameras and independent composition and lighting, it MIGHT be same? Road’s look a bit greyer here

Interesting response. Just trying to help. I have collected a ton of pics of '02s, and my response was after looking at quite a lot of "stated original" 1972 Sahara cars. I couldn't find one with a carpet even close to the colour of the little piece in your post.

 

Maybe post a pic of your car with its 'original' carpet for us to see.

The original carpet in my 72 is also the brown as you state and show in your pictures.

You seem to have a similar colour carpet that was original to my Nov 1973 RHD Amazonasgrün Touring.

As you can see, it did not wear well at all, and faded even up under the dash.

 

I replaced it with something better from Esty.
