LOL, I actually mounted the horizontal trim and quickly realized I messed up. Had to drill the rivets out and got it fixed.

Since you have the car down to the shell it’s easy to get the drilled rivets out.  If you drill out the unwanted rivets, does the broken river falls into the car somewhere unretrievable?

they fall behind the rear door panels, but don’t fall out unless you drill all the way through. I drilled the heads of the rivets off then suck my hand under and used a punch to push them out.
