Midwest mechanic recco for engine & trans rebuild

Hey hive, I’m looking going to finally undergo much needed rebuild work on my Mintgrun’s motor and trans. They were both donors from parts cars over the last 20 years. The engine has a 121 head and pretty gnarly ring blow by and a knocking/clanking at idle that’s been annoying me for a decade. The getrag 245 has shot syncros in first and second.

 

Rebuilding these is beyond my desire and time, so I’m looking for recommendations for a reputable shop somewhere in the Midwest. My thinking is that I’d drive the car to a mechanic, then depending on where that is fly or otherwise transport home.

 

I’m in Minneapolis. Anything as far East as Ohio (my sister lives there) or South to KC is fair game.
