Some Assembly Required

My 73 tii went to the body shop this morning to get the finishing work on the body and Atlantik paint.  She will be back in about 6 to 8 weeks.

 

In the meantime, I need to set up a re-build order of assembly.  The interior is gutted, the engine bay is intact and the trunk is empty.

In your shoes, I usually do whatever makes me happiest first.

 

Which leads to a bit of misery towards the end, of course.

 

Honestly, tho, wires and pipes first, headliner early in the process,

and leave glass until you absolutely have to have it.  With the exception

of door glass, which should go in as soon as possible for door fitting.

I usually do everything three times anyway so I just start working on stuff.  An hour here, an hour there, I'm usually done in about two years.
