Hello forum members,

 

I needed help with ID'ing these BMW parts which I had acquired with a batch/lot of used & NOS parts that I had purchased for the restoration work I'm doing on my '76 2002. With the help of a forum member I now have these properly identified.

what makes you so sure they are a BMW part?

Look closely at the 3rd picture and you'll see the BMW logo in front of the part #

Those look like the top corner covers for square tail car bumpers. #32

Hello RichenFamous,   "Thank You" !!  I really appreciate your input.  I suspect you just solved the mystery for me. I'll take a closer look at this area on my car.  Thanks again, and I apologize that I mis-identified these as to what I thought were mud flaps... my bad !

I’d bet you’d get more useful “clicks”, if the title was something closer to:

Gap Covers for 1974-76 U.S. Rear Bumpers

 

rather than:

 

needed help with identifying these (now found)!

umm....but he didn't know what they were til the above ID -- so then he sez "now found". Made sense to me!?
