  20. Thanks for the additional info. Steve. As always you're most helpful. Regarding the project car / shell that I've listed for $6K, I got TONS of additional parts that I would include with the car if someone is interested. I'm open to negotiating a price depending on what all someone might be interested in. Thanks !
  21. Hello All, I have for sale a unique, disassembled project car with tons of high quality parts to reassemble & restore this car. It's a 1976 2002 VIN # 2743985 ; Fjord blue w/ dark blue interior. Originally an automatic, with air conditioning (I have all those parts which will go with the car). As you will see from the pictures the body shell & panels are extremely solid. I have over 85% of the original quality parts & bits and pieces, to reassemble this car. This is NOT a 'rusted out field find' car, but a legitimate very restore-able project car. Engine block #'s and casting numbers are all original parts with the car. The back story to this vehicle is that I've been restoring another '76 2002 (Malaga w/ sunroof / really solid West Coast car) ; I originally purchased this car with the intent it would be a nice spare parts car. I purchased it because it's extremely solid, had lots of good parts with it, and was fully disassembled so that I could see exactly what I was buying. As the scope of my primary restoration project on the Malaga car evolved, I decided to do a full ground up restoration to it, utilizing NOS and new upgrade parts. The leftover nice parts that I took off my Malaga car, I cataloged and planned on using on this Fjord blue project car. I've owned this car for 18+ years ; it along with all it's parts, have always been stored in 'heated indoor storage' the entire time to preserve their condition. You will see from the pictures the shell and the panels are extremely solid. Only light discoloration. Driver's side floor pan, spare tire well, rear shock towers are spotless. Lower door seams, hood & trunk lid are super nice condition with only slight discoloration. The three areas which would be in need of repair are 2 less than 3" in diameter rust spots on the front side of the drivers & passenger side exterior rocker panels (the underside & backside of both areas is rock solid) ; Also, front driver's side fender has rust, but only on the panel. The like new condition, spare front fender panel you'll see in the pics comes with the car. A simple remove the old panel, bolt on the replacement panel as pictured. The passengers side floor pan has approx. 6 small rust thru spots, and could easily be fix with a 6" x 6" patch or individually. As time & my focus have evolved, I continue to enjoy my restored Malaga car, but it's time to clear out this project and the many, many quality parts I've accumulated over 18+ yrs. I have a clean Mich. title for it. It's a wonderful project for someone, and the sum total of the quality parts that go with it are individually worth more than the $ 6,000.00 sale price. I just can't bring myself to parting it all out & cannibalizing it. It's simply too nice a car, and I'd like to see it go to a good home & an enthusiast. I've attached a fair amount of pictures, but have tons more if anyone has serious interest, I'll be happy to send more. I'm located in Grand Rapids, MI (Western Mich.) ; while I'm happy to assist, the buyer would be responsible for all associated transportation / shipping costs if they are interested in buying. Separately, but related, and not included in the $6,000.00 price, I will also be posting further upgrade parts that I've accumulated. Again items that I was originally going to use on this car. (items such as new Aluminum Oil Pan, Weber 32/36 carbs, rebuilt struts with H&R lowering springs / front & rear, Tii manifold, shield, & downpipe, urethane bushing set, large dia. sway bars, and the list goes on & on with many. many bits & pieces...) ; Again these parts will be listed separately in the Parts for Sale section and are not currently included in the price of this car. I'm open to negotiate with anyone that interested in the car, if they have specific interest in buying some of these separate quality upgrade parts. Thanks for looking, and let me know if you have further interest. Hope description helps. Serious inquires only please. But I'm open to sending more pics to anyone that has interest, or wants to arrange a visit to view all the items available. Peter

  24. Hello forum members, I needed help with ID'ing these BMW parts which I had acquired with a batch/lot of used & NOS parts that I had purchased for the restoration work I'm doing on my '76 2002. With the help of a forum member I now have these properly identified. I will re-post accordingly . Thanks
