Recommended Posts

Finally getting around to installing my headers on my mostly track car.  here in CA we have a bunch of tracks that are 92db :((  Laguna Seca, Sonoma....  so i'm looking for suggestions on a light weight, good flowing, and sadly fairly quiet exhaust for my '69 2L.

any thoughts?

i'm fairly certain the think that's on there now is circa' the 90's and it tiny...

Wonder if the Stainless Sebring from Walloth Nesch would work.

I have the IE system on one of my cars and like it a lot. I'm not running headers on that car though, so can't speak to this aspect. But it is a 2" and flows nicely and is not much louder than stock.

I've got whatever Top End Performance sells as their resonator and muffler and it's really acceptable as a street exhaust.  I've got it behind a stock s14 with the stock s14 header, but they say they use it behind K20 and K24 swaps all day, so it probably flows enough...

Sounds good, too.  Verified by JimK.

Dave.

'76, totally stock. Completely.
