I'm not sure how even a ball park value can be placed on this car without more detailed pictures (mostly to verify how much rust the car has) and more detail on the recent maintenance on the car. Assuming the rust is to a relative minimum, and again going off of very few details, I would put it in the 9k-12k range. I'd be interested to hear what the experts think as well

In other words, this price is way off the mark.

I was thinking they were 2X, so you are in line with my thinking.

Strictly Based on numbers and no expertise.
nicely restored sorted roundie on BAT sells for  $25 to $30k. Assuming there no major undercarriage rust issues I’d say $11k to  $15k is a reasonable price.

In addition,  No mechanical issues, working heater, windows roll up, all gauges work, etc.

+1

Agreed.

Depending on your local climate, you might be able to ignore — at least for a while — the surface rust building up on the folded-over lips of the trunk, and probably doors. But maybe not...

Don’t get me wrong in my criticism of the $22K asking price: this is probably a great starting point for an ‘02. It’s complete, quite original, and attractive as it sits. But get a PPI regardless!

Regards,

Steve

Definitely makes me feel better about my 71 Sahara. Not that I plan to sell it but...
