Please help! Having problem finding drum shoes that fit

So I ordered all new parts for my rear brakes and everything fits but the shoes. I checked out multiple places for the same size shoes that fit my car but everyone has ones that are to big. Anyone know where to find shoes that actually fit my car? It's a 1968 2002

If you have an early '68--below VIN 1660622--it will have the 200mm brake drums as used on 1600s.  Take a metric tape or ruler and measure the ID of your drums--betcha--from your picture they're 200mm vs 230 for later 2002s.  Also go to REALOEM.com and check the rear brake section--the pages will show you the different size brake drums used on all models.

The other possibility is that a previous owner swapped a 1600 subframe assembly into your car--possibly to get rid of the long neck diff and/or gain a 4.11 differential.  If that was the case, it would have the smaller 1600 drums and shoes.

Those are early 1600 shoes. i have an almost new set you can have for shipping cost. They came off of a crashed 1600 parts car I bought that just had the rears done.  dq

Mike it is below that vin number so I'm guessing that's the case. Idk how you tell if it had that swap that you are talking about though. Thanks!

If your 02 has a VIN lower than 1660622 you have a very early US spec car, as production began with 1660001.  I only know of one earlier than yours.  And if it has the small rear brakes, chances are very good you have its original long-neck differential.  You can tell by looking a the rear axles:  the outboard joint is a CV joint covered by a rubber boot, but the inner one is a regular U-joint--similar to those on the driveshaft--no rubber boot.
