Earlier this week I saw an ad for a Getrag CR 5 Speed and other parts for a 1974 BMW 2002.  I e-mailed the seller and asked him if it was a Getrag 235.  Apparently it was out of a BMW 318, so I am guessing it's a Getrag 245/10 CR Sport (dog-leg) 5-speed.  Pretty rare box.  Seller wants $2200 just for the trans, no shift platform or driveshaft.  Seller now posting the ad for just the transmission.

I attached a picture of a 245/10 for reference.  Main difference between the 245/4 OD and this one is the OD's backup switch is on top and the 245/10 is mounted on the rear.

always wanted one of those dogleg boxes since I had my E30M3...  $2,200 is steep and who knows how much it would cost to rebuilt it...
