Schwarz/black, 5-speed, A/C, rebuilt engine matching numbers, started interior restore, E21 recaro front seats and and e24 rear seats (have not been install and need to be reupolstered); new mouldings, grilles, flat turn signals, headlights, radiator, many other parts. Alpina wheels, Kamei type front spoiler.

 

I original purchased this car with the intent of it being my daily driver. Car starts and drives as should.

 

The car is a no rust car, there is a small dime size rust spot near the right windshield wiper and some paint imperfections.The air conditioning is aftermarket which was already in the car when I purchased it and is really cold. The heat works as well.

As for the interior the carpet was replaced was not all there when i purchased the car. I have removed the original rear seats so at this time there are no rear set. I have the seat in my house as well as the seats from a 6 series in which i had planned on installing them.

The engine was rebuilt before i bought the car and is a matching car however i do not know the mileage.

Here's a little info from when the seller first obtained the car. And yes, it was originally a Golf Yellow car. Glad to see the engine swap never took place!

The BMW 2002 tii VIN 2701428 was manufactured on June 07th, 1971 and delivered on June 25th, 1971 to the BMW importer Balcom Trading in Tokyo, Japan. The original colour was Golf, paint code 070.

We offer two versions of written confirmation: a manufacturer's confirmation (dating letter) or the BMW certificate for classic vehicles.

The dating letter is usually used for official or administrative purposes. For example, when a classic vehicle should be re-registered in Germany or its age has to be officially confirmed for tax exemptions. This document costs EUR 35, - and includes production and delivery date, the dealer / importer and a technical data sheet.

The certificate is a high quality "birth certificate" for classic BMW models. You can choose between the one-sided version with the individual vehicle data or a two-sided version, which also contains the technical data.
