Given the car's completely re-upholstered seats, 34K miles is likely a dream at least 100K from reality. But the (re-painted) body looks beautiful. If it's a rust-free California car, it's not totally crazy. I recall an automatic square taillight car -- considerably worse visually -- selling at auction about three years ago in the mid-$20Ks. There's a wide range of buyers for '02s!

An original owner or an amazingly complete (and proven-to-be-complete) set of records could possibly prove it for me, but here's my '76's original interior at 105K miles -- save for new horsehair pads. New seat upholstery tells me lots. Even the inferior vinyl used in the square taillight cars lasts well over 100K miles!

Seller are a strange lot. Why wait until dusk to take your pictures? Why make sure that shadows prevent a good look at what you are trying to display? And, secondarily, if you have stuff in the background, shouldn't it be something other than a large sign reading  Call 1-800-TOILET?
