engine and drivetrain Engine revs by itself, no throttle

After I got the head rebuilt, and rewired the MegaJolt, I am having some problems with the engine revving by itself. The throttle is not sticking. Any clues? All new gaskets, and IE intake manifold. Carbs(Dellorto DHLA 45) rebuilt 6 months ago.

 Im guessing an air leak somewhere. make sure all the vac ports on carb and intake are plugged or running to the appropriate place. I have had luck in the past spraying carb cleaner on the intake to check for leaks. Also make sure your choke is not turning on or sticking. I know if the chokes stick on my mikuni carbs the engine revs with no throttle

But not to 4000 rpm and upwards?

 

Chokes are good. O2WB says 12,4.

it revs to 4000 by itself? How do you know the throttle plates are not sticking open?

Check the throttle return spring. I might not be functioning correctly. What is your throttle linkage and controls on the carbs? Are the carbs synced?

Can you grab a datalog from the Megajolt? Thinking it might be a run-away vacuum/advance issue

I am guessing your ECU is acting on, you know it must be the artificial intelligence (AI) ..... Increase the ECU power supply to 20VDC it should solve the problem.
