Still working on it, I added the 3 feeds on the right but it slowed the page down to 11 seconds per load... can't have that. So I am going to store the data in a db and just update it a couple times a day.

 

QUESTION:

Any idea of why some cars are excluded from the RSS feed?

As usual I went overboard and have made this site so it can collect and display any data for any make model, if you have a suggestion please go to the page and enter the criteria you want on the bottom and I will build it.

 

Please take a minute to checkout the page, it should be updating every 7 hours now, that is as fast as I could get it to go.

 

As always please send over some suggestions.

I was going to come in and post that if it could be used for other makes I would be even more excited, as I like to peruse for Saab Sonetts, Alfa GTVs, old Fiats and others.  Can't wait to try it out.  Don't want to be Dougie Downer, but there have been other such sites and Craigslist has decided they don't like them and shut them down, so lets keep it our little secret.

I sure hope CL doesn't shut it down... but I guess they could.

 

I built these so far but will wait a week or two to see if they shut me down.

Alright, besides adding a form for you to add your car directly to the site I think I am done.

 

I would love to make more pages as the framework is built, feel free to post suggestions here or on the bottom of the site.

 

Also please let me know if you have any suggestions to make it better, it is just a hobby so if I can add or revise something to help you guys, please let me know.

Has been dead for a for a while, it was cool while it worked, anybody, including the creator if he is still online, know what happened? For some reason CL doesn't seem to like these kinds of sites, but hope it is just a temporary blip, would be great if it had vintage Fiat and Saab too.
