Brake Tee Fitting Source

Does anyone have a source that is not charging outrageous prices and $10 shipping?

Typical bubble flare m10X1 rear fitting, but I need another for the front now.

Thanks for the help in advance!

Plumbing store? Auto parts store? Ebay?

I get mine off parts cars- the E21 has them in back, too.

They are actually not trivial to find retail!  The version that

most generic parts places carry don't have the convenient

mounting hole.

Most retails rarely ever carry the bubble flare as Toby noted, and thus the sarcastic remark to Roadhog... You can get inverted at almost any store automotive related, but bubble is difficult. It's only on a few websites for usually $20 plus some colossal shipping charge.

Andrew always pulling through. Serious life save! I will shoot you an email next week about it, no rush. Thank you.

I try to be as helpful as possible  If I need them I pull em off parts cars. Maybe I should start saving more of them...

I just get them new from BMW or BLUNT. Very common part that was used for the rear brake line on all BMWs until they went to four channel ABS a few years ago. Pretty cheap and you can walk into a dealer to get one.

Sounds like IE has them too.

Yep, even some VW/Audis had them. M-B, too, on some.

BUT:

try to find them retail.  They never fail, so the dealers seldom have

them in stock.

One of those little 'Why would you need that?' things that

sometimes comes in very handy.

My race car has one in back- and one in front, too...  same deal.

i must have better dealers around here..:-)

even if dealer does not have, there should be some in the warehouse network and it can be at any dealer within a day or so with no shipping charges.

it is a very useful part for converting front 2002 brakes to single line setup or replumbing brakes on newer race cars after removing the ABS system.
