Any info on this 69 in Palo Alto?

Does anyone have any information about this blue '69 in Palo Alto?

I've been talking with the owner for some time now. Sounds like a pretty clean car. Spoke to the mechanic that did the compression test, and the owner who has been driving it. Everything seems to check out.

I just want to see if anyone has driven/looked at this car. It's being sold Richard Kwan at Beyond02.

Any info would be great.

Many thanks,

I thought it the oddest thing: referring to it as a "rare Baltic deep Blue" and "bone stock" when the (obviously) original paint sticker, prominently illustrated, says "Polaris neu"!

Kwan is a broker. Best to have a look, or have someone look on your behalf in my opinion. You did see the link in my initial post, right?

Cheers,

Thanks, Ray. Knew it was repainted, wasn't sure the original color.

Do you know anything else about the car or the dealer?

Ray

Stop reading this! Don't you have anything better to do?? :P
Two running things. Two broken things.

as it doesn't have either headrests on the front seats or side reflectors. And the VIN itself would indicate a late '68. As has been pointed out, it must be a repaint, as (1) that shade of blue wasn't offered on 2002s in 1968 and (2) a blue car would have had a black interior; Polaris cars had dark blue interiors in 68 and 69. At least it was a thorough repaint.

Other than that looks pretty nice from the pictures.
