Thanks, they recommended Caltron Plating in SFS. Left a message for these guys.

I've called about 7 shops that do metal plating and/or powdercoating. Most do not strip chrome.

In addition, in picking their brains, some are recommending sandblasting to chemical removal. Supposedly it is cheaper and does about the same job.

I found one shop in Valencia that will do the chemical for $35 each

Yea, looked that over as well. Looks simple enough, at least for the non-toxic solutions.

Caltron just called and quoted me $20 per wheel...that might be cheaper than buying a keg of coca cola...and less messy, but then again, I wouldn't be able to drink the spoils!
