Well i've been lurking long enough, figured it was time to say hi.

Also it was finally time for a thread to compile everything. My name is Josh, and this is Fraulein my 1970 BMW 2002. I had my G35 stolen, and coming from a background of e30/e36's, I decided BMW was once again the way to go. I have always wanted a 2002 and when this car popped up I looked at this car, asked all the right questions and the previous owner generously offered to hold it for me as long as I needed to get my car situation handled. After waiting 6 months everything fell into place 2 days before my birthday.Very Cool.

So now she is in my hands for KEEPS. Not selling this car ever. Time to go through, tear her down and make her my own. I bought it a little old, a little rusty, wanting some love and I am damn well going to give it to her ha ha.

So the car had an awkward pull to the right. I hadn't driven it due to finals, and christmas etc. So I pulled her into the garage and noticed the spring had been unseated the whole time. Boom easy fix. Also the 30mm IE sway bar ( yes 30) had kinda funked up the sway bar end link and the castle nut wouldn't spin, so I guess it's time for beefier ones.

Finished plasti-dipping the Alpina theme for fun until I can get her painted. I started by masking things until I realized how easy and awesome dip is!

As far as the Alpina quad headlights I've decided that ^ you are right, euro smilies are too new, and since I already have upgraded hellas i'd like to sell this set. If anyone is interested let me know. I'm also looking for a L&R chrome headlight surround. If anyone has a set for a decent price I would definitely be interested.

Thanks!

Next on the list are tires. I'm considering Yoko S drives, Falken azenis 615k, or dunlop direzza stars. Any recommendations?
