Headliner advice

Anybody do a black headliner? I finally found an installer I trust and he is reluctant to do the black headliner install. He has done them before and says it really makes the car dark and claustrophobic. I wanted to simplify things with the black headliner, black console and dash, with marine blue seats and door cards and blue and charcoal flecked carpet. Anybody have experience with this?

the o2 pickup we got from andy was all black inside, including headliner and it absolutely was very dark inside...too much for us, we changed it

think of the headliner as the sky...bright sunshine or black clouds

Did one in the supercharged 02 a few years ago as well. Too dark.

I did a black headliner myself . I'm too grungy to attemot a white one . Got it from Goliners on ebay

I had black in my 76. It made the interior space feel smaller. It looked great... but I wouldnt do it again.
