This car evidently has some power. Why is the shifter sooo loose? In some gears you can see it flopping back and forth.

The shifter is flopping around because he shifts it like it was a M22 Muncie "rock crusher" with a Hurst linkage. Look at him throw his head and shoulder into each shift. I sure would not want to be his gearbox mechanic ( or maybe I would, job security ) it is also a dog ring style racing box not a BMW cr box.
