i have a 72 tii that in the shop for paint right now, after the car is painted it will be up for sale

my question is

should the rear reflectors and rear side markers be removed and holes filled?

and the lower trim black that runs along the sides of the doors be removed and patched

for my personal taste i would remove these items-- but from an 02 buyers stand point i am unsure which would be better??

anyother body tips would be helpful-

any input or pictures would be great, thanks

My personal aesthetic preferences are to delete the side markers, and to leave the lower trim for cars with the longer rear chrome bumper (like your 72), but delete the lower trim for cars with the shortie rear bumpers (pre-71, I believe - or squarie conversions).

All that being said, I think for a '72 tii, you're best off keeping it bone stock.

Good luck with the paintjob and sale!
