  3. kbmb02 really helped me out on this one! new part installed and ready to finally move on. If anyone else is interested in this part, I emailed the BMW classic parts division in Germany and this was the response I received (translated to English): "Thank you very much for your email. We are pleased that you can contact us directly with your request and Thank you for your confidence. We are still looking for a new supplier in this part 5148 7450110. Therefore there is unfortunately no date for the postproduction. High pressure is applied to this case. We hope this information could help you and look forward to your visit Next visit to our BMW Classic Parts Shop. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us by phone from Monday to Friday From 8:00 am to 8:00 pm please contact us at the following number: 0800 60 70 700 (free of charge)."
  4. Thanks for the help. Unfortunately they don't have them in stock. Most vendors that list the part on their site fill the order through BMW and BMW has had them back-ordered for quite a while. -Ryan

  8. After a long day of working on the car I became fatigued and stupid, which led me to breaking the top cover of my steering box. Anyone have an extra? Also, I'm searching for the firewall insulation pad. It has been on back order for a while now and it's holding up my build. Thanks, Ryan

  12. Hello! I have this car for sale for parts or an extreme project. The car was in a front end collision. Many parts have already been removed, but there's still plenty left.   13. Thanks for everyone's input! I agree that they seem to be a Japanese made rim. No idea on the date of manufacture so that doesn't help in my quest. I do like them so either way I'll keep them. -Ryan
  14. You have already done half the work. My vote is to drop the block and do the whole thing. You are already pouring time and effort into it might as well donut right. All you need is a cheap motorcycle lift!
  15. Good call. I did look up those symbols and came to the same conclusion. I actually picked these up from an '02 with coil overs and camber plates up front and adjustable springs in back. They seem to fit pretty well. I'm just trying to figure out if they are worth keeping, as I may put them on my e30. I just can't find anything on the actual manufacturer. Thanks, Ryan
  16. Hello! I'm trying to figure out what I have here. They look a lot like BBS et13's but are 15x6. Anyone seen these knockoffs or know who makes them? The only text on the rim is in pic two. Thanks for any help! -Ryan
