    Called my friend Billy who owns a machine shop - he said the same thing; so, I used a small drill bit to start the hole then switched out to a bigger bit to finish it off. Thanks guys.

    For anyone interested, Meguiar's offers a couple of DETAILING CLASSES at the HQ in Costa Mesa (near John Wayne airport). I took my 51 Chevy in AUG 2008 and have taken their Saturday class. The instructors are great, and they may still offer food. The guys go through the methods and steps of detailing your car - from clay to finish. Great stuff, great time. Also, they'll offer to take a car club if enough members are interested.
