    Ah a "water neck" that's the name of it. excuse my ignorance but I'm a newbie and didn't know the name of the part :-). Is it easy to get a new one of these or a good used one? Thanks

    Hi Tom, Thanks for the tip, as i got a bit confused with size of the bore and combustion chamber, if i understand well 118 head from any year has the same size and combustion chamber shape which is for bathtub pistons of smaller bore (84 to 85) did i get it right? Thanks

    Hi Rey, I'm in fact rebuilding an early 1967 NK 1800, with the longer stroke and smaller bore (85mm 3rd oversize) I got lucky and found some NOS mahle pistons for my application, an ebay seller called Linea Veloce has few in store and at good prices, I got mine for 290$. http://stores.ebay.com/lineaveloce I'm changing the 1,8i head with a 118 korman stage 2 head, also found on ebay that has the matching combustion chambers for my piano pistons.     Hi everyone, I just had the seller on the phone and he reconfirmed to me that after getting the head from Korman it has never been used and that all the gear inside (eg the shrick cam. rockers, valves springs are all brand NEW). Thank your for the feedback

    Thanks Tom, What you think if I go for the weber 38/38 will it be enough for the shrick 292 to breath, and is there any jetting prescriptions for this set up? I hope i don't bother you with all these questions, your help is much appreciated.

    Tom, A set of sidedrafts would be a bit too much for me at the moment, what other application you think would be ok with downdrafts 32/36 or 38/38? Do you mean the combustion chambers have been opened up for hemi pistons or the intake ports have been opened up? Thanks
