  1. Jim are these from Strictly German's collection of Bavarian rust buckets, or somewhere else. I'd love to know how to stalk these. Always looking for more junky Bimmers to save.
  2. Try the guys down at LaJolla Independent. They had everything I needed for my 76 when I was in Cali. Very nice guys, and very knowledgeable. http://www.bimmerdoc.com/
  3. You do need to know what year, or type transmission. There are two different types. I have both, you can email me using the link above. I will find out what shipping is while you find out which assembly you need.
  4. +3 on the heli coil. I inherited a motor from a friend that would spit #4 plug out every 1000 miles or so. heli coil strightened it right up.

  12. auto trans 3 bolt flange on the drive shaft is larger than e21 3 bolt flange. I wish you lived closer, I have all of the 5 speed parts here pretty cheap, but by the time it was shipped out there it would be pretty expensive. Good luck with your project!
  13. If you need another let me know.
  14. Already cut one for him but thanks for the offer.
  15. I have already told him to snatch it up or its going on my 68!!! ;-)
  16. Great to see a new 02er in GA. If you need seat belts, I have a box of them, and could likely come up with a pretty decent set on the cheap for a local 02. Keep an eye on the board, the local 02 club has drives and meets from time to time. Or you can check here: http://www.atlanta-bmw2002club.com/
  17. Hey guys, I have a friend on a budget looking for a little performance boost. I gave him a good used cam of mine and now am looking for a reasonable Weber 38 to go with it. You can reply to the e-mail link above. Thanks, J
  18. Let me know if that falls through. This would be great as a back up for Lucky #13.
  19. Okay guys. I was going through a stack of cam cores I have at the shop and found one with H300 stamped on the front of the timing gear flange. there is also a spot on the shaft that has the same marks. These appear to be the only markings. Does anyone know who made this cam?
  20. Absolutely. Send me your email addy.
  21. If you ever need another feel free to shout. I have a pile of them, water, electric, and manual..

  24. Lorin, You are right on time. I sent an email to see if I can get the bronze color in the correct size for our cars. I have seen the rb's in bronze and it is hot. If I cannot, I have already decided to go for the metallic grey wheels.
