    Bought a new bulb. Nothing... Took the light off & cleaned the contacts - bang! light works in the on position.... Took off door sensors and totally cleaned em taking off everything from paint to grim then stuck em back on - Bang! Dome light works in "on" and "open door" position! I love it when things work the way they are supposed to.

    Hey I have a 3 pc dash that's got its share of cracks for sale. Might be a good option for someone wanting to get one recovered. Shoot me an email if your interested.     Anyone got some extra lens deflectors for the run lights? dumb dumb dumb.... i was messing around with some led bulbs and then accidently put the wrong one back. -rd

    '67-'71 1600 had all chrome metal grilles '68-'73 2002 had metal grilles with black slats with two slats on each side chrome Late '72 and all '73 had the shallow headlight dishes...previous to late '72 the dishes were deep. '74-'76 had all black plastic grilles. This year also had a different design for the kidney grille. '67-'73 grilles will not interchange with '74-'76 grilles...the nose sheet metal is slightly different. So then all kidneys were the same except for '74-'76?

    Oh yeah DOT rules were funny to begin with. All the smog stuff on my 76 back in California probably added 100 pounds to the vehicle and never really worked... best thing I ever did for the environment was take all that shit off once I got to Seattle.

    Can anyone provide a quick run down on grill and kidney history over the years? What years were all chrome vs black slats, shallow vs deep, size changes in light bucket etc .... -rd

    Anyone needing a bench seat to re-upholster? I had this on craigslist for $30 but alas no takers. Would love to see it go to good use... This is from a 68 1600-2. My understanding is they will fit later models w/some tweaking with the seat belts involved (check FAQ site for details). local pick up very much preferred... unless you really want it shipped and willing to pay outrages handling fees (mine) : ) -rd

    for my '76 daily drive. Also looking for a wiper bottle... and the small rubber cap that goes on the dome light switch. always willing to do some horse trading (ive got some misc 68 parts). rd

    Anyone know if there is someone in the Seattle area that does good quality prep prior to having it sprayed at a maaco or the likes?? Im in the same situation with my daily drive... and no garage to do it myself (other than trim removal).

    This one is in good shape! Left side No cracks, no bulb burns. $40. I also have a right side lens (w/repaired cracks and a bulb burn) for $10.
