    On my 70' I had to. But not on my 73'. Luckily the windshield needed to be replaced.

    There are screws behind the steering wheel pads. If the top portion doesn't "pop up" then you might have screws near the windshield. Also there are two screws at the corners. 8mm in size and visible only by snaking your head under there.

    I need straight sections for the front and rear of a 73. I'll take very nice or not so nice, as long as they are fog light hole free and straight. I can get them rechromed.

    Wow that seems extremely high! I got a guy that quoted me $500 for a complete set of front and rear with many scratches and dents. This included the overriders as also.

    After changing oil (Mobil 1)and swithching spark plugs from Bosch to NGK I am noticing a little smoke coming from the valve cover portal. I don't know the history of this engine but before doing these changes I don't recall seeing this. Any help is appreciated.
