  1. It is a long shot but I am looking for wiper linkage if you still have it.. al
  2. Do you still have the wiper linkage/transmission? thx al
  3. windshield wiper assembly must be in god condition with good splines. I don't need the motor but I will take it if price is good.
  4. it seems to be working but pages are loading slowly like it is installing something .....
  5. My experience with recent OE/BMW rubber parts: they are the same as Meyle just reboxed in white boxes with fancy bmw labels, and double the price. If your guibo is screwing up all the time, it is not the guibo but something else in the drive shaft link, as many other fellows pointed out above.
  6. Hi Phil, hope belts are still good! I don't mind the extra icons but as esty said for old farts like me it is a little bit clutter
  7. facebook, tweeter, youtube, google+ icons started showing next to the usual faq create new content, notification, messages icons etc? what is going on?
  8. I can help with touring seat belts including rear manual belts with special hooks for the male latch plate (male buckle) as shown in the pictures. Automatic rear belts is a possibility in a touring with some mods, where a small profile retractor can be bolted around the inner wheel housing area. Of course, I still provide front seat belts for any 2002/1600 or similar vintage Bimmer. I only use the highest quality parts (read German) so they cost more than other aftermarket belts but a lot less than OE BMW belts when available (not NLA). I also refurbish your original seat belts (2002, and coupes, some E30s) depending on their condition, have NOS/good used parts in stock (in limited quantities).
  9. Yes, I am still around. PM me if you want to discuss seat belts options. I always advise fellows to purchase new seat belts from BMW if they can afford it; blunttech will give you best prices, tell him Rabbi referred you. BMW belts are sometimes not available separately from BMW Classic for both sites so you might get two passenger sides or two driver sides. My belts are very good (of course!), as good as BMW belts because I use the highest quality German/USA aftermarket parts available. They will work either side. I believe my prices are reasonable, but not cheap either, about the half of BMW prices. I can't make them less expensive without compromising quality, and I am not a volume manufacturer, nor a buy-low-sell-high ebay vendor. happy sleeping
  10. I am not sure if they come with full covers. If they are repa I may find something that might snap on that front support bar. Will check my stash. FYI, they are very similar in size to BMW Autoflug retractors that never came with covers.
  11. Some retractors came with cover, some didn't. Show me a picture and I will tell you.
  12. I made at least three dozen pairs of rear seatbelts using smallish retractors than those shown in the DRedman's pictures not including joint enterprise with Blunt several years back (group buy). Even the BMW's reissued retractors (Autoflug brand, made around 90s) were the same size as the front units, so it is extremely difficult to find small retractors that will fit there perfectly while having the sufficient length of webbing. I currently use Autoliv brand (formerly Autoflug) retractors which are smaller than factory 2002 retractors (new or old stock) which work better but they are not tiny due to longer length of webbing they have. You can always buy from someone else (like used e30 retractors) and install them yourself after some cutting and welding so they will look cool; one can only hope that either method will be safe for your little one. I myself will not allow any small person on the back seat regardless of the type of seat belts used. Enough said.
  13. That is a later model buckle, probably from a 1974. They had a harder plastic head which tend to separate across seals. Early buckles will also work. I have some but keep them for my rebuilds since they are getting harder to find in good condition. Put an WTB add at FAQ classifieds.
  14. I have also good experience with them. As a side note, W&N carry complete nuts and bolts sets for 2002s all years. Just watch for discount sales every other months or so to get good deals.
  15. I have three different tii csv wiring looms with timer ("computer"). One of the loom is from a 72 and has 4 pins (in a 6 pin housing) timer connector and the other two are from a 73 tii and 74 tii both use 6 pin timer connector. The color of the wiring from 72 and others are also different. Where can I find information about this? It seems 72 wiring has also slightly different connection to csv than the other two (which have two pin connector) but it may have been modified to accommodate different csvs e.g., from a e21, I just don't know, bmw parts diagram suggests they are the same. Thx in advance for your time. Al
  16. Oil hose is of a small ID, may be 3 or 4mm, maybe even smaller. The ID of the nipple on the banjo fitting is also really small. The new oil hose from BMW beefed up more like a stainless brake line but internally is the same diameter as the old plastic line.
  17. HI rick; Thank you. I ordered the pieces from bell metric to make a spare tube and also oil filter housing from Paul Wegweiser which comes with the original nipple. I am very grateful for all your help guys, thank you.
  18. It is straight M8x1 on one end and M10x1 compression type on the other (per Toby's response above), M10 side has a tapered thread, starts easy but snugs up tight as you turn the nut on the oil hose. Inside the m10 side (female), it is also tapered to fit the male part of the oil hose inside the locking nut, or something like that.
  19. Thanks for the links fellows, I will see what I can get. I also found individual parts from bell metric; high pressure polyamide hose, banjo eye fittings, and hollow bolts. Push come to shove, I will make the hose with two banjo eye fittings just like in older tii models. There is light at the end of the tunnel after all.
